DEVELOPMENT AND REGISTRATION OF TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS
Each manufacturer needs to create technical specifications (TS) for its products with specifics inherent in its production.
According to Ukrainian standards, technical specifications must contain an introductory part, and the sections must be arranged in the following sequence:
- Technical requirements
- Safety requirements
- Environmental and disposal requirements
- Acceptance rules
- Control methods
- Transportation and storage
- Instructions for use
- Manufacturer's warranties
The development of technical specifications includes the actual drafting of technical specifications, selection of the name, the State Classifier of Products and Services (SCPS) and Ukrainian Classifier of Normative Documents (UCND) codes, filling out applications for registration, etc.
The Technical Specifications must be approved by those authorities, the list of which depends on the scope of the product (Ministry of Health, State Committee of Ukraine on Industrial Safety, State Service of Ukraine for Food Safety and Consumer Protection).
The requirements of this document shall not contradict the established requirements of state standards applicable to the specified products.
